Ha vinto Poirer per TKO al Round 2, minuto 2:32.
Poirer ha usato una strategia inedita contro Conor, ovvero i low kick al polpastrello (calf kick). Questa tecnica è molto recente nella sua applicazione ma si sta rivelando di successo.

Ai tempi in cui Conor era Campione solo Ben Henderson la usava, quindi è probabile che l’irlandese si sia trovato un po’ spiazzato. I suoi movimenti si sono rallentati tantissimo nel primo round e i calci molto telefonati.

Se a questo aggiungiamo la mancanza di fame e la ring rust, il risultato non stupisce a posteriori.

  2. Risultato che mi lascia soddisfatto. Sono passati anni dal loro primo incontro e Dustin, a differenza di altri, ha lavorato duro per farsi trovare pronto. Seguo anche Daru e da tempo si vedeva la fame e l’impegno. A leggere articoli di testate sportive importanti sembra che Conor abbia perso da solo, gli occhi, l’entrata, il personaggio che vinceva pre match. Premesso che quel personaggio mi stava sulle balle e, assai prima della sfida con Khabib, (internet mi è facile testimone), lo consideravo iperpompato, ( è forte, molto, ma da lì ad essere migliore di sempre…), esistono pure gli avversari. Si entra in due. Ora vedremo come continuerà. Spero la pagliacciata con PacMan, ( avendo lo stesso agente), non si faccia. In un incontro vero l’irlandese uscirebbe col muso rotto già al primo round. Le robe alla Mayweather jr. spero ce le risparmino. Vabbè che il filippino ha 42 anni ma nell’ultima sconfitta (…) Horn alla fine del decimo è stato condotto all’angolo perchè non sapeva più da che parte andare; poi ha vinto… rotfl.

    • Poirer mi ha davvvero stupito effettivamente. Conor ha kili di ring rust da togliere, ma Poirer bravo.

      Se Conor fa un altro 20-30 Millions contro Pacman a me va bene.
      poi chiude la trilogia con Nate (tanto sono entrambi spompi) epoi si vedrà.

        A parte la differenza di età e di peso, vedremo che se ne farà. Bah
        Conor, pre PacMan, dovrebbe vincere un incontro. Vabbè che i suoi fan li ha sempre e comunque ma l’accoppiata Khabib Poirier non gli ha fatto bene all’immagine che sta cmq cercando di ripulire. Non si possono sempre prendere a pugni anziani nei pub ; cmq le alzate di Jon Jones sono inavvicinabili.
