Il 4 aprile 2026, l’ottagono del UFC Apex ha ospitato UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Duncan, evento senza pubblico annunciato ma con una card solida, soprattutto nelle divisioni leggere.
Background

Note finali

Age classes
The age classes are defined by the age the athlete has already reached or by the age he will reach in the year in which the competition takes place (for example, an athlete who is 17 years old on the day of the competition but will turn 18 in the year in which the competition takes place, can register for either the Juvenil or the Adult tournament).

can request to be moved by sending an email to info@bjjitalia.it (emails sent before TUESDAY, APRIL 7 will not be considered).
Athletes who have requested to be moved and their coaches must verify that the moves have been made correctly on smoothcomp .
Athletes alone in their category may decide not to travel and instead show up at the competition venue to be awarded the gold medal, after passing the weigh-in, and to participate in the Openweight, if applicable and if they have registered.
PUBLICATION OF BRACKETS
The athletes’ brackets , with the estimated times of their first matches, will be published on smoothcomp BY FRIDAY, APRIL 10 and cannot be changed during the competition.
KANO KIMONOS EVENT T-SHIRT

Athletes entitled to the free t-shirt must collect it at the stand by 1 p.m.
ENTRY OF ATHLETES AND COACHES
Athletes registered for the race and their coaches must enter the sports hall from the entrance on the ground floor reserved for them.

WEIGHT CONTROL
Weigh-in opens at 8am and closes at 4pm and during this time the athletes can carry out the weigh-in whenever they want but they must do it strictly at least one hour before the start time of their first match indicated on smoothcomp (please note that the times indicated on smoothcomp are estimated times that vary frequently during the competition because they are updated in real time based on the duration of previous matches).
At the weigh-in, athletes only need to show an identity document.
In the No-Gi competition, athletes must weigh in wearing competition shorts and a rashguard , which can be any color.
In the Gi competition, athletes must weigh in wearing the Gi-kimono they will fight in, which can be all white, all royal blue , or all black (under 16s can weigh in without a Gi-kimono).
Athletes registered for both the No-Gi and Gi competitions can ask for the No-Gi weight check to be considered valid for the Gi competition as well (in the corresponding weight category which, considering the weight of the kimono, is approximately 2-3kg higher) .
At the weigh-in, athletes who do not fall into the weight category in which they registered are disqualified from the tournament of that weight category but can still participate in the Openweight if they registered online and confirm their participation.
Athletes registered in Kid 1 (4-5 years old) do not undergo a weigh-in but must still show up at the weigh-in table, accompanied by an adult, to confirm their participation in the race.
Athletes registered in categories without a weight limit must still present themselves at the weigh-in table to confirm their participation in the race.
At the weigh-in, all athletes registered for the Openweight must confirm their participation, otherwise they will be cancelled.
Athletes who, after passing the weigh-in, are found to be alone in their weight category, must immediately go to the podium area and ask the Area Manager to be awarded .
After the closure of each weigh-in, athletes who do not show up for weigh-in are removed from both their weight category and any Openweight .
After passing the weigh-in, athletes must check that the green dot appears next to their name on smoothcomp (if the red dot appears, they must immediately return to the weigh-in and ask to be checked because they cannot participate in the race with a red dot).
COMPETITION PROCESS
Approximate start time of the race: 10am.
All athletes and their coaches are invited to bring to the competition venue smartphones and/or tablets in good working order and with a fully charged battery because they will have to independently access smoothcomp to check the start times of their matches and the mat where they will have to show up to fight.
For this reason, after the weigh-in, athletes must constantly check the estimated start times of their matches on smoothcomp , which vary frequently because they are updated in real time during the competition based on the duration of previous matches, and the mat where they will fight (IMPORTANT: athletes are NOT called to the mat over the loudspeaker).
Ten minutes before the start time of their match , indicated on smoothcomp , the athletes must enter the competition area and present themselves at the exact mat indicated on smoothcomp where they are to compete in the match, positioning themselves on the correct side of the match official at the table and remaining silently waiting (in the competition area it is strictly forbidden to incite and advise the other athletes while they are fighting).
The athlete at the top of the bracket (green/yellow) must stand on the left arm of the official at the table and wear a green/yellow belt in the Gi competition and a green/yellow anklet on the right ankle in the No-Gi competition. The athlete at the bottom of the bracket must stand on the right arm of the official at the table.
At the end of the match preceding the one they are due to compete in, the athletes must present themselves to the referee at the table, declare their surname and name and ask for permission to go onto the mat to fight.
Any athlete who fails to report to the referee at the weigh-in table at the end of the match preceding the one he is due to compete in, or who has not yet undergone a weigh-in, will be disqualified.
If an athlete has matches on different mats at the same time, he must ask the referee at the mat table for the next match to postpone his match.
In case an athlete has to play a match within 5 minutes of the end of his previous match,
You may ask the Match Official at the table to allow you 5 minutes of recovery time.
The athlete wearing the green/yellow belt or anklet must leave it on the referee’s table after the match.
After finishing their match, athletes must immediately exit the competition area.
Athletes who withdraw from the competition for any reason must notify the Official at their mat table.
After the end of their weight category tournament, Openweight athletes must check on smoothcomp the estimated start time of each of their Openweight matches and the mat where it will be held.
It is strictly forbidden to consume food and drinks inside the competition area.
It is strictly forbidden to step onto the tatami with shoes on.
AWARDS
At the end of the finals in each weight category, the top four athletes (first, second, and two-thirds) must immediately proceed to the podium area and ask the podium area manager to award them their medals on the podium (athletes are not called to the podium). Only athletes who are to be awarded medals may enter the podium area.
