ADCC ITALY OPEN 2026 (ADCC)

14° International Open Submission Fighting competition of the ADCC world circuit / Abu Dhabi Championship.

Juniors, Adult, Master competition. 2.500 euro cash moneyprize in the Absolute classes.

Facilities during the competition: Food area; Tatami area for athletes to warm up and equipped with a TV screen to check the order/programme of matches on the various mats.

COMPETITION REGISTRATION

The event is open to athletes from any nation, team or federation.

Direct elimination tournament with third place final. In categories with only three participants, a ‘comeback bracket’ will be applied.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE Sunday, 14 June 2026 at 23:59

Registration will close, even early, once 350 athletes have registered. Each Absolute/Open Weight category (no weight limit) has a limit of 32 registered athletes.

ALL participating athletes must have a public profile that is visible so that we can verify your registration and correct participation in your experience class. Failure to make your profile public, if it corresponds to a false declaration of your level of experience, may result in disqualification from the event.

ALL participating athletes must present the required medical certificates for the check during the competition ( see details in the link to required medical certificates ).

REGISTRATION FEE

The competition entry fee must be paid via Smoothcomp (even if it says PayPal, you can use PayPal or a credit card to complete the payment). Entry fees will NOT be accepted at the weight-in or at the competition venue.

Early 01 Mar – 20 Apr 23:59 45 Euro

Normal 20 Apr – 06 Jun 23:59 55 Euro

Late 06 Jun – 14 Jun 23:59 65 Euro

Absolute / Open weight 25 Euro

Each Absolute category (no weight limit) has a limit of 32 registered athletes.

Entrance fee 10 Euro (to be paid at the entrance)

Coach entry pass: one pass per team for up to five registered athletes, two passes for more than five registered athletes.

Coach passes will be given to the first athlete of the team to weight in, in the event that athletes from the same team do not weight in together or with their coaches, and they grant access to the competition area so that coaches can corner their athletes. Only one coach is allowed in the corner.

No refunds will be given for participation fees in the event of incorrect registration, failure to show up for the tournament, disqualification due to being overweight, failure to attend document or weight checks.

ALL ADULT ATHLETES, during the registration process, acknowledge and accept the terms set out in the event information page.

ALL MINOR ATHLETES must download the information form at the following link ( click here to download ). It must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian, handed in to staff at the time of weight-in during the competition, and sent to adcc.shooto.italia@gmail.com by the registration deadline (14 June 2026 at 23:59).

PRIZES

MEDALS, BELTS, 2.500 Euro MONEYPRIZE IN ABSOLUTE CLASSES* .

Medal for the first three placed in each weight category. Planned final for third place.

For each category of the Absolute Open Weight: belt for first place, medal for second and third place. * In each Absolute Category with at least 16 registered participants, the winner will receive a prize of 500 euro.

Best Academy rank: in each weight category 30 points to the first, 18 points to the second, 6 points to the third. In addition, 1 point to each participating athlete not on the podium, 1 point for each match fought and won and 3 points for each submission. If an athlete is the only one entered in a weight category, he/she does not gain any points.

Ensure that the name of your Academy is registered exactly as you wish (for the purposes of results and teams ranking); no changes to the name of the Academy will be permitted during the competition.

At the end of the final of each weight category, the top 3 ranked athletes must immediately go to the podium area and ask the person in charge of the podium area to be awarded (athletes are not called to the podium). Only athletes who are to be awarded a medal may enter the podium area.

We are looking for Referees for our events: to be part of the ADCC Referee Staff you must have attended the seminar and have experience in ADCC events. Contact us for selection and to participate in the seminar and become part of the ADCC circuit.
