The event was well organized, 3 Arena is amazing venue, there were 3 big screens showing live action from ring cameras, the place was packed with roaring, singing MMA fans. 

Danni Neilan (2-0) vs Chiara Penco (4-2)

Nice, fast punches by Penco at the beginning of the first round cause swelling of Neilans left eye. Good knees to the body and head of the Irish, forces her to clinch defensively. Takedown by Neilan and side control, one of her elbows cut open Italian above left eye.

In second round Danni keeps circling and throws punches at her opponent, scores takedown. Penco gets the arm bar but the Irish fighter escapes. Danni presses Chiara to the fence and controls fight from the top with elbows and punches. Penco pushes Neilan off and kicks up.

All the defensive effort from the bottom took toll on Italian fighter, she’s much less active and slower in 3rd round, Danni keeps pressure on. Takedown by Neilan after 2 min in 3rd round. Nice up kicks by Penco again. Big shots by Danni in last ten second of the fight secure her win by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).

Penco looked really tired post fight. She refused to talk to us after the fight.

Bellator Dublin: McCourt vs. Ruis Main Card Results

Leah McCourt (4-1) defeated Judith Ruis (6-5) via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

3 takedowns for Leah in first round, Ruis managed to stand back up. Leah escaped dangerous arm bar attempt by Ruis at the end of 1st round. Another takedown for Leah in second round and rear naked choke attempt, Ruis finished round on top. In 3rd round McCourt goes for the takedown again and scores it, lands some elbows and shots on Ruis and has her pinned down against the cage and controls the fight from top. Crowd was roaring!

Charlie Ward (8-4) defeated Kyle Kurtz (10-8) via TKO at 4:24 of round 3

Fight started slowly, very little action in 1st minute of the fight, Kurtz circling his opponent, not many punches thrown from both sides. Takedown by Charlie mid first round, reminder of the time spend on the ground grappling. Slow start and another takedown by Ward in second round, very little action on the ground and the unhappy crowd let themselves be heard by booing the fighters. In third Ward brings his opponent down again and pounds him against the cage. Badly hurt Kurtz needs med attention. Fight restarts but after another takedown and heavy ground and pound from Charlie referee stops the fight to save the American.

Austin Clem (4-1) defeated Aaron Chalmers (5-2) defeated via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-26)

Chalmers landed good knee in the first round, but well prepared Clem executed his plan without surprises, controlled the fight with takedowns.

Bellator 240: Primus vs. Bungard Main Card Results

Brent Primus (10-1) defeated Chris Bungard (15-6) via submission (neck crank) at 1:55 of round 2

Fast win by the American. Primus started with high kick, scored the takedown against the cage, hammered Bungard to the ground, rolled and secured triangle from the back and finished with neck crank.

Kiefer Crosbie (8-1) defeated Iamik Furtado (6-2) via split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29)

The crowd was excited for this one. Crosby scores takedown in first round and attempts rear naked but without success. Second round was very close, good exchanges from both fighters. Aggressive finish and takedown in last 40 sec of third round by Crosbi secures him win. New father, Crosby dedicates the win to his newborn, 4 days old son.

Bec Rawlings (8-9) defeated Elina Kallionidou (7-4).  Australian Rawlings scores early takedown in first round, controls the fight. At the end of the second round Rawlings secured rear naked choke but the bell saved the Greek fighter. Rawlings wins via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) against the youngest fighter on the card

 Ricky Bandejas (13-3) defeated Frans Mlambo (8-5) via KO at 1:25 of round 2

Mlambo is very calm, precise, controls the standing game. Drops Bandejas with combination of punches and attempts rear naked choke on the ground. In second Bandejas grabs one of Mlambos high kicks, drops him with right hander, finishes by ground&pound, ref stops the fight. Great win for Bandejas after being sick.

Oliver Enkamp (9-2) defeated Lewis Long (17-6) via TKO at 4:10 of round 1

Enkamp drops Long with spinning elbow, finishes him by ground and pound, ref stops the fight.
